What are the benefits of receiving a massage regularly?
There are quite a few benefits. These include increased blood flow and circulation, flexibility, helps with mood and improves sleep patterns and hormone levels.
How often should I get a massage?
It varies case by case but I generally recommend at least once a month for most clients.
Can you explain the different massages and who they'd be good for?
*Signature/Swedish - It involves gentle, sliding strokes to soothe and relax. Good for a person new to massage or for those looking for a more tranquil experience.
*Deep Tissue - I use slower and more deliberate pressure. It's for the client that needs tension relief.
Deep Tissue Techniques: Tracy is able to incorporate a combination of techniques or use just one for the entire session.
Myofascial Release - deep spreading used to release fascia over muscle.
Trigger Point Therapy - specific deep and constant pressure to release trigger point buildup.
*Warm Bamboo - This massage incorporates Swedish rolling techniques using invigorating warm bamboo. For the client that wants a uniquely relaxing OR a deeper massage. Can be adjusted accordingly.
Am I able to have a massage that targets a problem area?
Absolutely. Sessions can be tailored to avoid or focus on specific areas.
Are there aftercare instructions?
Drink plenty of water. Don't be surprised if there's soreness particularly after a deep tissue session. An Epsom salt bath helps alleviate any discomfort you might have after your session.
